2024 Seymour Unicorn – Tudor Beasts 1oz Gold coin
This is a brand new 1oz gold coin minted by the Royal Mint. This is the 4th in the popular ten-coin collectible series of Tudor Beasts coins.
Each coin contains 1 troy oz of 999.9 purity gold. Coins will arrive in official tubes for orders in multiples of ten. With a face value of £100, the Seymour Unicorn gold coin qualifies as legal tender – so any profits from selling them in the future are Capital Gains Tax free. These bullion finish gold coins are ideal for investment due to their lower production cost than proof finish coins.
Ideal for collectors and investors alike.
Seymour Unicorn Tudor Beast
The 4th Tudor Beasts Royal Mint gold coin features a stunning design by David Lawrence. The Seymour Unicorn image represents fertility and purity, a gift from Henry VIII to wife Jane Seymour. As with many heraldic creations, the beast is a mix of animals, including a horse’s torso, the tail of a lion and goat’s beard and hooves. The background to the unicorn image is textured with an animated chainmail effect for added security and aesthetics.
The front of the coin displays the brand new official portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The background to His Majesty features the familiar guilloché design.
Our Expert Opinion
These coins are essential for collectors and investors alike. Lock in the introductory low premiums when the coin is first released, as similar limited edition Royal Mint coins such as the Queen’s Beasts gold coins have soared in value due to high demand and very limited supply.
