2023 Yale of Beaufort – Tudor Beasts 1oz Gold coin

This is a brand new 1oz gold coin minted by the Royal Mint. This is the 2nd in a brand new ten-coin collectible series of Tudor Beasts coins.

Each coin contains 1 troy oz of 999.9 purity gold. Coins will arrive in official tubes for orders in multiples of ten. With a face value of £100, the Yale of Beaufort gold coin qualifies as legal tender – so any profits from selling them in the future are Capital Gains Tax free. These bullion finish gold coins are ideal for investment due to their lower production cost than proof finish coins.

Ideal for collectors and investors alike.

Yale of Beaufort Tudor Beast

The mythical Yale beast features beautifully on the reverse of the coin. The Yale beast has represented proud defense for the Royal Family as far back as 1485 and was referred to prominently by the Beaufort family during the 15th century.

The background of the coin reverse is textured with an animated chainmail effect for added security and aesthetics.

The front of the coin displays Jody Clarke’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the guilloché design background.

Our Expert Opinion

These coins are essential for collectors and investors alike. Lock in the introductory low premiums when the coin is first released, as similar limited edition Royal Mint coins such as the Queen’s Beasts gold coins have soared in value due to high demand and very limited supply.
