History and Design of Queens Beast coins
The Queens Beast series celebrates the ten heraldic beasts which were present in statue form at Queens Elizabeth’s 1953 Coronation at Westminster Abbey. The ten beasts represent the queen’s illustrious line of ancestry with each creature associated with various Royal Houses and monarchs.
The obverse of the coin bears the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the new guilloché design.
Our Expert Opinion
Snap these fantastic coins up while you can. Previous issues of the series have sold out quickly with premiums rising significantly as silver coin collectors seek difficult to obtain coins. Premiums when first released tend to be low, offering a small window of opportunity to lock in incredible value.
Investors have long been adding the queens beasts coins to their collections, not just for their tax-free status for UK investors. The chance of soaring premiums in combined with the certainty of tax efficiency. Just like with the more standard silver Britannias, all the queens beasts coins are also Capital gains Tax free due to having legal tender status.
